Evangelist Pamela Harris & Bailey Holt Towers Family posted a condolence
Thursday, December 7, 2017To the family of Rev Donald Carney: Please accept our condolences and prayers for the loss of your loved one. He was our neighbor and "family" at Bailey Holt Towers. Many of us here at Bailey Holt Towers will miss his thought provoking questions, and keen sense of humor. And we will miss what he called, "breaking bread" together (Discussing the Word of God). Rev Carney had a warm smile and an encouraging greeting for everyone. Even when hospitalized and during rehabilitation Rev had appreciative kind words. He always looked to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith and kept hope alive in his heart for his healing and restoration to the ministry of Pastor. He took every opportunity to spread the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and to mentor others. Please take comfort in God's Word that Rev Carney's labor on earth was not in vain: Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Wednesday, December 6, 2017To my cousins, Paula, Cynthia,Valerie and Theodore, I was deeply saddened to hear of cousin Donald Ray's passing on last Wednesday. Donald was a unique person. I loved getting little tidbits from him on my social media posts. Even through his illness, he kept encouraging others. He loved his entire family and would often make trips to VA to visit his Aunts and cousins here. Donald has taken flight now to his new home in glory. That is what we all long for. He is going to be missed but never forgotten. My condolences and prayers are with the family.
