Dear Ulysses and David,
As you go through this time of sorrow and sadness, may you know in your heart how much others care. I have many wonderful memories of times with Ruth. We attended elementary school and high school together and then enjoyed our first year of college as Bisons at Howard University. My fondest joys and special memories include the times we were cheerleaders together at West Side High School and at Howard University. May she rest in heaven as an Angel of God. With sympathy and love, Cynthia Congleton Drayton

Ruth and I graduated from West Side together in 1966. The last time I saw her was at our 50th class reunion. We also went to south 8th Street School and Seventh Ave. I met Ruth through Sheila Allen. They both lived on 13th Street. I lived on 10th Street. It saddens me to hear of her death. May she Rest In Peace. The family has my sincere condolences.
